Perhaps God is not calling you to live for peace, but rather to fight for it.

About This Quote

In the Bible, Jesus says, “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27). Jesus is a lover of peace. He was a human being who lived a life of peace. When Jesus finished his mission on earth, the world was a better place because he had been there.

But Jesus also pointed to another side of love: loving your enemies. This part of Jesus’ message is easy to overlook.
